Dr Peter Smuts (BA LLB, MAR, PhD) is a qualified attorney and advocate of the Supreme Court of SA, but has not been active in the legal profession since 1985. He joined the Faculty of the Bible Institute of South Africa, near Cape Town, in 1996. Since that time he has held a variety of administrative and academic positions at the college and is currently Dean of Graduate Studies.
Peter has had a number of articles published in theological journals, and is the author of Mark by the Book: A New Multidirectional Method For Understanding the Synoptic Gospels (P&R, 2013). He is married to Dagmar, and they have a son, three daughters and two grandsons.
