Dr Conrad Mbewe served as pastor of Kabwata Baptist Church since 1987. He is a graduate of the University of Zambia, the Cape Town Baptist Seminary, and the University of Pretoria in South Africa. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Missions. He is the founding Chancellor of the African Christian University. He is a blogger and an author. His latest book is God’s Design for the Church (Crossway, 2020). He is also the editor of the Reformation Zambia magazine. He is married to Felistas and they have 6 adult children, and 6 grandchildren.

Gerard Hemmings was born in London and was raised a Roman Catholic. He was saved at the age of 17. He graduated from university with a degree in Biology and taught the subject for a number of years. Since 1992 he has pastored the church which meets at Amyand Park Chapel, Twickenham in south-west London. Gerard is married to Mandy and they have 4 grown up children. His interests include cricket, mountain walking and current affairs. He has spoken at regularly at conferences in the UK and in Europe, Asia and Africa.
