It is with joy and gratitude that we look back at the 2019 Grace Ministers Conference that was held in January.
We were priviledged to have Rev David Carmichael from Glasgow, UK, in our midst again. He shared with us on the following themes:
Preaching the Cross of Christ
* The Cruelty of the Cross
* The Crisis on the Cross
* The Confession after the Cross
Our second main speaker was Dr Tom Nettles from Louisville, USA. It was his first visit to Grace Ministers Conference and he shared on:
The Life and Pastoral Theology of Charles Haddon Spurgeon
* Charles Spurgeon as a Preacher
* Charles Spurgeon as a Pastoral Theologian
* Charles Spurgeon as a Controversialist
For the break-out sessions we had the following speakers:
Rev Isaac Maleke is Dean of Students and Lecturer at Mukhanyo Theological College. In addition to teaching and leadership on the Executive Committee, he provides pastoral support for Mukhanyo students and works to strengthen their spirituality. He is an alumnus of Mukhanyo and serves on the staff since 2003. Rev Maleke also pastors a church in Tweefontein, KwaMhlanga.
Dr Piff Pereira is the Dean of Studies at the Baptist Theological College and will share with us on “The Pastor’s integrity – Can you be trusted?”

Six of these were at the Scottsville Baptist Church. They have since leaving Scottsville served at the Central Baptist Church Pretoria. Carol has led the ladies ministry and has been the speaker at ladies meetings at Central and elsewhere. She has had valuable experience in local church ministry and is able to relate to the many challenges and blessings in the role of the pastor's wife. She will share from her rich experience to encourage the wives of pastors who will be able to join this conference.|
Our venue was Pure Joy and we are grateful that many of our friends were able to be with us to share in this teaching and fellowship. We thank the Lord for the time of rich blessing.
